The assignment involves designing and testing a robot limb for the SmartXP robot (top-left picture) with ESP-C5 controller. We keep it simple by using hobby or smart servos (Dynamixel XL-320 etc) and make it remote controlled through a web interface.
Implementing some form of agentic AI (using a mobile phone for camera&processing?) could be an extension of this assignment, or a separate one in parallel.
